Academically trained as a chartered Accountant, Maitreyee felt her true calling emerge in 2015 when she started finding solace in the world of art. Ever since, she put together an education path for herself, deriving her learning from various artists, books, workshops and through her dogged determination and passion for art.


In 2019, Maitreyee embarked on a transformative ninemonth journey across Europe, immersing herself in backpacking life, visiting art galleries, forming connections with fellow artists and drawing inspiration from her travels across more than ten European countries.
Maitreyee’s artistic journey has met with a resounding success, with her work featured in prestigious solo and group exhibitions across major cities like Pune, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, and more. Her work has also garnered recognition from both national and international publications.
